Amanita Muscaria Tea Recipe

Ight, i now have a great deal of Amanita Muscaria in my possesion. I plan on taking 5 grams dried saturday evening after work (about 10 pm). Im thinkin about making a tea. Ne suggestions on how to go about doing this?

Im thinkin a couple cups of water in a pot brought to an almost boiling level.
Then ima add the 5 grams dried and stir it around and shit for a few minuites and then id let it cool off and down it.

Ne one got a better way? maybe ill get some weed to smoke as well.

Not to sound mean...but you clearly have no idea about what you're doing, and A. Muscaria is not anything like P. Cubensis. There are very serious considerations about this mushroom, and it has very clearly not been used recreationally like psilocybians. There are certain ways to prepare these - some recipes use milk, for reducing the toxic effects. The ancients fed them to snails, then ate the snails to reduce toxicity. Just because reindeer can handle them doesn't mean you can.

Cannabis also has no connection with the shamanic use of these mushrooms, and it would be completely foolhardy to use this in conjunction with a potent drug that you have no knowledge or experience with. A. Muscaria may not be horribly lethal like A. Virosa or A. Phalloids, but it shouldn't be trifled with. Coma-like stupor, uncontrollable drooling, spastic motor responses. This mushroom is not user friendly, and if you decide to mess with it, you'd better keep a portion of the ingested ones around for the physicians who are going to pump your stomach, fill it with a slurry of activated charcoal, run an analysis of the mushroom, medicate you and charge you a shit-load of money for their procedures.

Read some books on this mushroom by Gordon Wasson, secure dosage information, preparation information, and poison control center location before you attempt to play Siberian Shaman.

Ive read all the info ive came across on erowid and in my library of books i have here. It seems that this mushroom has mixed reviews. Some people love it , some ppl could care less, some ppl experience nothing, and some ppl hate it. And not to sound mean, but you cleary have no fucking experience with this mushroom so why are you tryin to tell me that I dont know wat im talkin about, when u know just as much as i do, or less for that matter.

I am curious how your experience turns out. I have heard reports of very dramatic and overwhelming experiences and also those of nothing much happening.

Ive eaten 3 times one middle sized a pantherina and no effects, only the ganja high after that is somehow added with magic. You should have made 10-15, I think. Oh and have some nice happy time

i've read shit where people would catch the piss from an amanita intoxicated person and then drink the piss to trip...but that was like the 1600's or something.
i've also heard of people baking that shit in the oven to prepare and i've also read about people using it to kill flies in their house. they would put chunks of the amanita in a bowl of cream or milk, and the flies would drink and die. just rambling..

So heres wats up:

at about 11:45 pm i start preparing the tea. I brought 5 grams to a boil in roughly 2 coffee mugs full of tap water and I let it sit and mix.

I ate a small peice of the mushroom and drank all the broth over about a 10 minuite period. by 12:07 am the tea was injested. I did not eat the mushroom pieces though except for that small piece.

The tea itself relaxed me and cleared up my sinuses. I grabbed 3 bottles of water and put them near where I was gonna b incase i got thirsty.

12:34 am : think i may feel something slightly.

12:46 am : Drank some water. Feel the same

1:04 am : feel normal

1:30 am : I've been kinda hungry the whole time and eat some rice and bread.

1:43 am : Still feel sober and am kinda tired so i go to bed.


basically nothing happend this time.

ugh dude, you don't have to toast them that's just a way of drying them, and you DO have to dry them. Anyone I know who's taken them wet had nasty experiences of falling into comas, and the only people I know who've taken them dried have had many great times. That's what I've heard from people I know and other than that I've just read a bunch of experiences, never tried them.

Funny how whenever somebody posts something about amanitas there's a father figure who moves in with no experience whatsoever and declares them dangerous and reccomends not doing them. Kinda fuckin retarded actually.

nobody from the shroomery can tell you how many g to eat! amanita muscaria shroom's potency varies from forest to forest,from town to town,from country to country etc.
You must experiment to find the proper dose for you.try with 5g and if u feel nothing then raise it. maybe the proper dose from the shrooms you have is 30g!you never know!
Amanita muscaria MUST be dried to eat it. Drying it you make muscimol from ibotanic acid. So dried is not so toxic as it's fresh.
Also i would like to ask from people who have never hunted/tripped/eatten amanita muscaria to NOT advertise it with a bad way saying that it will send you to the hospital and such bullshit!
They say that the trip from the amanitas in america with the amanitas in europe is different. i am not sure about this. but i know that from amanitas consumed from european countried the trip was unbelievable good! dreaming states of euphoria and much knowledge-food for your mind!

so stop spreading nonsense for this sacred shroom if you don't know for sure!

You need up to 90-120 minutes to feel the effects and the trip last many hours more than psilocybin trips

yes im well aware of the difference between 3.5 g and 5 grams.

Well, last night/this morning i was successfull.

11:44pm : 3.5 g dried was ingested while hungry on an empty stomach.

12:02 am : feeling hungry again

12:15 am: I microwave some chicken and put some bar b que sauce on that shit and add some silces of bread to the mix up and attempt to grub. Just b4 i begin eating i get the taste of the mushrooms in my mouth from my memory or watever and the taste of my food and everything makes me nauseated and I go upstairs to smoke some weed.

12:20 am : I begin smoking some small bowls of weed.

12:30am : while smoking i notice odd effects. I have more energy.

12:40 am : No joke; on the dot, i finish my food i made after all.

12: 44am: i go downstairs to grab a nestle crunch bar and while walking around and moving about and such i notice that this hi is very hi-fee i guess u would say, and in the dark i see a faint kalidescope pattern i would call it i suppose.

1 am : i begin to realize that this shit is actually working and decide to leave behind my record that im keeping and jus go off and feel the effects.

during this time i felt a loss in my equilibrium, increased amount of energy, a numbing feeling in my body when i move around. I feel kinda tired but when i close my eyes i dont feel like i could fall asleep. I notice that i have distorted "trippy" vision. Pupils are dialated as well. I underestimate my strength when opening doors and such.

I lay down and start watchin tv at around 1 :45 am

at around 2 something am, i fall asleep.

5:45 am : i awake to quickly diminishing effects

5:53 am : sober and am awake which i didnt plan on being at this time.

6:33 am : i finish typying this post and then post it up.

so it worked afterall. Nothing to fear from this its all good.

The body can decarboxylate a small fraction of ibotenic acid into muscimol, but the majority of the ibotenic acid is simply excreted through urine, which is a waste.

This is almost correct. The A. Muscaria fruit contain two active chems, ibotenic acid (bad) and muscimol (good). The fruit must be dried to turn the ibotenic acid into muscimol. The reaction only occurs if the fruit is dried at 170F to 200F.

Interesting.. So I guess stone age shamans would just pop em in the oven for a bit? I read some thing about how in siberia they just dried them in the shade to prepare them.
