BEARDS
    #12640771 -

Well, im reletivly new to shroomery, and it has dawned on me that alot of ppl on this site would be avid beard lovers

Ive been practicing in the art of beard growing for quite some time now.
Infact its going on my 8th month without shaving.

My beard has served me well,
Suprisingly im yet to meet anybody who truely appreciates my beard the way i do.
My new favourite pick up line is 'i like your beard'
Now admitably some women have taken offence, but it seems to work over 'wanna fuck'

I idolise costa from costas garden.
If i could be half the beardernaught he is, id be a very happy beardernaught indeed

Yea, beards are the shit, and they're coming back into style a bit more these days.

I much prefer a beard to shaving every day, but I don't like having to trim it and shit, cuz that defeats the fun.

Whats up with this weird beard attitude lately? Like we're all in some beard club because we don't like to shave.

Look, I have a huge beard. People approach me about it all the time and are like "damn! that's an incredible beard!" then proceed to talk to me for 5-10 minutes about the hair on my face.
Yeah, sorry, I don't have much to say about my FUCKING BEARD.

Nope, I don't have plans for it. Nope, I don't remember how long it took to grow. Nope, I don't trim it.

The worst is aspiring beard owners. They can't grow one for whatever reason, and they give you this look of admiration mixed with jealousy as they ask you if you have any 'beard tips.' BEARD TIPS!?!?!

Sorry....  just, sorry.... I'll leave now....

Oh if only i had a hair on my face for every time someone comentented on my beard, id be a a sasquach.

But what really makes my beard stand on end is beard haters.
If your gonna pass judgement on someone for choosing to grow pubic hair on thier face, maybe you should have a look in the mirror.

That is all, thankyou.

I have a beard because my gf likes it, it makes me look older and its kind of getting to be a pain in the ass.  I really don't miss shaving though, that was an ever bigger pain in the ass.  I'll keep it because I've had it for long enough now where its a part of the image I'm used to looking at when I look in mirror.

I've never enjoyed shaving so I rock a beard.

My sideburns are full power, and my neck/chin/mustache are fairly good too-- I'm just waiting for it to fill out on my cheeks a little bit, make the connection between sideburns and mustache finally.

I shaved at about half a year ago to try and land a job-- I felt so naked I will never do it again-- I'll make up some medical or religious excuse before I take a razor to my face! Though I do trim it every month or so, once I can grow a full face beard imma let the shit grow.

I find that I can't help but :strokebeard::strokebeard2:... it's irresistible.

Indeed.
Beards have done us all a great service
from ancient egypt to modern day wester culture, beards have been grown and shown for all the public eye to gaze and admire.

One of the most famouse beards being that of my late grand father sir francis the great who served in the first and second world war as a barber.

He told great storys of bearded men doing us proud in the front line,
infact it was actualy his beard that ended the first world war and it was the jelousy from forign governments of the true greatness of his beard that started the second.

Its been documented that some bearded aboriginal men and women from remote regions of this world possess an almighty magic within thier beards themselves and can actualy petrify and enemy from a distance of up to 100 beard lengths.

Although this has been proven to be fact you still get the odd skeptic critic saying its all a bunch of hogwash.
But i firmly believe there are enough of us now that truely understand the power beards possess, and with a little luck and persistance we are gradualy raising beard awareness.

It is also a generaly excepted rule that men grow beards and women dont. however, this is simply not true.
some of the worlds best beards have belonged to women,
Infact it was a woman who grew the first beard ever recorded.
In 1bc a woman by the name of mary was bearing a beard as well as a baby, some ppl may remember the story of jesus.
Yep mary was little beardless baby jesus's mother, and after popping the lil fella out they began a very very long epic jurney to grow beards and to teach the art of growing beards so that one day it would be general knowledge amongst those who would follow in thier footsteps...

I hope this has sorted out any confusion there was prior to this post and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask

I have to keep it trimmed above my upper lip. I don't like chewing on hair as I eat.

This makes no sense.  So you're hitting on women with beards, but some women don't like it when you point out their facial hair?
