Found a wallet.

What would you do if you were like a month from moving out on your own for the first time and you found a wallet with $720 in it?

when I was 17 some old guy bought me beer

he dropped his wallet in my car with about $200 in it

I got a call from his neighbor that he lost it, so I really did try and find it for him, and I would have given it back, but didn't see it

then about a month later I found it

and kept that shit

but I feel bad about that now, 7 years later

Have you ever lost your wallet? Do you know how much of an absolute pain in the ass it is to replace your drivers license, cancel your cards and replace all the other shit in it?

If you're just about to move out your young, which explains why the $720 has such significance to you.

Hell, at minimum, take the cash and call the owner saying you found it.

I'd take the money and spend it.

then in a couple of months something will break on my car or house costing way more than 720.

I did just loose my wallet. there was only like five bucks in there but yes it did suck. Gah, this really sucks. I feel like i'm being tested. maybe he'll give me a reward!

Honestly, with $720 dollars in a wallet, I'd see the persons ID and try to contact them somehow, if they don't call me back or something, I'd take the money.

Just think about it, that money is 20x more important to the real owner than it is to you.
