Why does everyone think that the millenium falcon sucked?

In star wars? Every time someone saw it they commented about it being a pice of shit or something. I may not know too much about space shuttles but hey I thought it was pretty nice.

i actually was really into star wars when i was young.

the ship was heavily modified, i think even illegally so.  it was shitty at sub-light speeds but had a very fast hyper drive.

it also had alot of weapon and power modifications, but yeah it was always falling apart.
