i would have to disagree majorly with that statement, but the whole concept of playing an rpg is what i want to stay away from as i need to start living MY life, in the real world.

but anyways if you dont think wow takes skill well then you have just havnt achieved anything in that game (which isnt saying much lol) but yea check out this vid its awsome, fire mage.

Yeah I wasted a couple of years of my life on that game. Don't get me wrong though, I had a blast.

I quit at level 70 right before WOTLK came out. IMO the game just kept getting worse with every expansion. I pwned pretty hardcore as an elementalist mage @ level 60 but after the first expansion they nerfed the shit out of everything that made that playstyle good. (Synergy between fire and frost was reduced, you pretty much had to go completely into one tree, plus they nerfed the fuck out of engineering so no more mind control + iron grenades for easy stuns)

I still kicked a lot of ass @ level 70 as a frost mage, but never really matched the epicness of the ol' elementalist mage w/ iron grenades who could take on 2-4 people no prob if he knew what he was doing.

I was like 14-15 when I made that vid. Thank God I quit, I'd still be a virgin otherwise.

Eh, he has way better editing. That's about it. We played at completely different times, the game mechanics were way different. The video I posted was after engineering and elementalist spec got teh nerf. I never even played WOTLK. When I did play elemental spec it was at level 60, and even more overpowered than he showcased in that video.

A good example of how I used to play, before TBC even came out:

I played pre-bc too, i quit right about the time i cleared MC, then they came out with BWL i was like fuck im not spending that many hours. for gear that doesnt mean shit in real life, then i went back waaaaaaay after BC was out and got to 70 like a month before wotlk came out. basically i skipped BC.

Also i could tell you were in your element and 100% knowledgable of ur play style and how to win with it, vs ur other vid where u struggled to flow.

I used to be a dwarf paladin on Darkspear. Can't remember the level, 48 or some shit. It is a sick game, but it does get so boring. Takes literally hours to complete the simplest of quests - collect 5 gorilla testes, and you need to  kill about 50. Getting groups for instances sucks too. I think the game is best when you're in the starting zone.

80 Troll Shaman, 80 BE Death Knight. I miss WOW but it was really starting to piss me off.

I'm super glad I quit, I was addicted and I would still play to this day if it wasn't for hackers stealing my account 6 times. I got so pissed off and couldn't play half the time I just stopped playing altogether.
