Any Ex-World of Warcraft players??

Anyone who was truly addicted to this game and quit, ever feel like you want to go back?
I always miss all the good times i had on that game, but for me to enjoy that game i have to play it alot, in my opinion you cant just play that game a little bit unless you already have chars and every now and again u log on to pvp or something, but even now pvp is ruined. I always get little urges to start playing again but i know that all it truly is, is a HUGE unproductive waste of life. thoughts?

I played fire mage, solely pvp, from the beginning.

I continually held back from quitting, hoping buffs were inc.

They never came. I got tired with waiting.

I don't plan on going back.

I feel awesome!

I played that game for a few minutes to see what all the hype was about and I didn't get it.

For some people though, it's the most amazing thing in the world it seems. I used to work with two people and all they would talk about was WOW all day long.

Last game I bought and played was Duke Nukem' 3D.

So yeah.  I dont play video games.

After conquering it so many times, I can say I have become bored with it. I don't plan on playing it again anytime soon. I actually haven't been playing any video games since the spill. Not sure why, I just haven't felt like it?

I think every game is really addictive, WoW especially because theres always millions better then you. Millions to do. Wasn't really for me but I still have dreams about counter-strike source and Socom from when I played it every single day after school back on ps2. But I gave them up. They're addictive and not very rewarding aside from wasting/entertaining your time.

IMO theres always better things you can be doing then playing a game.

yea i got my mage to 80, played mostly frost then arcane got really fun to play, ill show you a video of the most amazing fire mage ever.

I never really played it.
Well, an ex boyfriend of mine was always on it. So, one of his friends told me to play. Set it all up, told me how to run around. I made him show me how to dance.
I just ran around dancing in random groups of people. And then started to dance on a hill by myself.

Friend says "so, you know there's gotta be some guy somewhere that jacks off to this kind of shit." [many lulz followed]

I swear, as soon as he said that, some Jackoffasaurus [srsly] came up and started dancing with my little character.

I have never laughed so hard in my entire life.
At first I was like  :awewtf:
but then I laughed so hard I cried

i never got into WOW.  as i understood it, battles were stat and equipment based.  i figure the game is a massive grind, with little skill or strategy.  any way thats what i've been told, i've never played it.

It's definitely more rewarding, beating someone with pure skill rather then how much time you've spent in the game. I'm not saying WoW doesnt take skill but... it kind of doesn't. First-person-shooters are awesome like that.

My friend's sent me a free 15 day trial thing. I tried it. It wasn't fun to me cause I like actually shooting. If I'm playing a video game, I want to be attacking someone, not letting the computer decide if I hit or miss. If I'm going to play a dice based game, I'm gonna be playing D&D table top.

rofl so many noobs in this thread. wow takes no skill but you think halo does? i'd love to see you get gladiator or even break 2k rating for that matter. pve content is a grind. pvp content is skill. get on my level nerds.

yea pvp is alot of skill, and when you have it it is oh so fun to top the charts in BG and kill people over and over and you can definately tell you are pissing them off lol. But yea wow is a bad addiction.

depends on the type of game....halo n warcraft take attention and reaction skill, other games like....starcraft take carefully planned strategy, cant really compare the two genres theyre completely different
