SWIM and california busted?

Swim currently resides in California. And Swim was just caught with 6 syringes of spore solutions (untoucehd and unused still packaged), and a binder filled with teks on how to grow psychedelic mushrooms. Not to mention 50+ half pint jars, a tub filled with vermiculite labeled: "vermiculite for snake", only about 4 jars were filled with brf + water + vermiculite etc etc. Swim was doing this at a friends pad, when the authorities were alerted by roomate and came and confiscated the spore solution syringes and binder of teks. They now know where Swim lives, what car Swim drives and they are supposed to come talk to Swim any moment.

Question: is it illegal for SWIM to possess spore solution in Cali.? or isnt it only illegal to distribute spores into Cali.? Also, are the teks and syringes enough for Swim to get rolled on intent to grow said psychedelic mushrooms? Is Swim in deep shit?

I ordered two syringes few years ago I live in cali...I mistakenly placed them on the top shelf of my parents pantry and forgot them there..dad finds them a few weeks later, takes them to the bathroom and empties the liquid out..said he thought they were heroin paraphanelia :lol:

swim gave this some thought. Swim's friend is a she, and she is a junkie. Her word against Swim's? from what i understand the law is 9/10ths posession. It gets better. I lied for swim's dignity. what really happened was Swim was prepping subtrate at his/her friend's house with no intent to grow them there (just prep) when swim's friend's mom came to visit her daughter and then called the police after seeing a bunch of crazy jars and shit. the rest is true. Swim does not want friend to take the fall but the mom was stupid for maybe getting her daughter rolled. again... 9/10ths law is posessison, and swim's friend begged swim to do it at her pad so swim might cut her in some of the product. I realize that swim isnt going to save me from the law, i am just being polite
