you are clueless, psychedelics definitely helped me realize that my heroin habit was a problem and that I needed to fix it.

of the very few useful things that psychedelics do, breaking addictions and habits its definitely one of them.

Burke- just because it never worked for you, doesn't mean it won't work for anyone. :rolleyes: Ever heard of Ibogaine?

I agree that no one thing can cure opiate addiction by itself.. especially without the desire by an addict to get clean, which is crucial.

But some things can definitely help.. and chemically-catalyzed ego loss (and re-programming) is one of them.

Ya, Actually psychedelics have helped me, many times in life.  i was doing coke 6 days a week, for far to long.  After a few solid solo trips i realized that i need to change.  its been 2 years im clean and doing damn good!!! 

  Some people may use them "to get fucked up", but they have great potential to help you grow as a person! :heart:

i still dont see how she could be doing anyhwere near 1 gram of heroin a day PLUS methadone and others...?

even after a 3 year long addiction

even 10+ year heroin addicts don't use a gram a day.

mixing methadone with other opiates is also usually a recipe for sickness

for me i used probably around .1 a day, sometimes more, but when i would use more, i would almost ALWAYS black out/pass out/vomit everywhere....could have easily died many times.

a gram would last me a LOOOOOONG ass time, i would take it nice and slow. only do a little bit at first....save it for later.....save the nods and big hits for when i had no obligations.
