Call me paranoid, but why's it only when I watch Alex Jones that my youtube shuts down?
    #12456880 -

tha curparationz r watching me!      :cop2: :tinfoil:

first off, can anyone tell me how to fix this?
what happens is, at some point in the middle of a video it stops playing and says it's buffered the whole thing
if i refresh, i'm able to play the video, but it will freeze up again at exactly the same spot
if i go to a completely different page and watch some other video, that video will work, but i still can't go back and watch the video i was trying to watch

has this happened to anyone else?
anyone know how to fix it?

second, i'm curious what you all think of alex jones
hence, a poll:
Do you think Alex Jones is reporting real information?
You may choose only one
What is your attitude towards Jones?
You may choose only one

The stupid clogs up the intertubes and the video can't get through anymore. You need to clear your tubes first by watching three hours of TED talks and then you can go back to watching the fat man with his little megaphone.

I thought it was funny when Jones compared David Icke to a turd in a punch bowl.

Aside from that, he's a nut.

He's also had him on his show and has said good things about him/to him, so yeah...

When I was a young teenager (like 14'ish) Alex had  me practically brainwashed and paranoid, I started going insane and turning on my own family, etc.
Thinking everyone was out to get me and that at any moment the government was gonna put us all in camps, etc. I was irrational and quite frankly insane, the paranoia and fear mongering just got to my young mind.
I used to check my phone for bugs and shit, I was turned skitzo by listening to his show for so long and taking what he said seriously.

Until later, when I learned about thinking rationally and logically and how to interpret what real evidence is and applying it to my beliefs and ideals (religion, conspiracies, ideals of morality), I realized what a fool I'd been for being duped by an asshole like Alex. It was like I was preyed upon, like he is just doing his radio show for a certain type of person, to "grab onto them" and make them paranoid "robots" and buy his shitty documentaries...I think he knows most of his audience members are young males/early teens, and people who are already paranoid.

Just listen to his Y2K broadcast, he is a fuckin' tard.

I like exploring the possibilities of the occult, conspiracy theory (and I really don't think 9/11 was jihad, that's all me and Jones have in common), supernatural, etc.

Alex Jones was probably the easiest figure for me to rule as a complete idiot.  I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of Character.

I've learned my biggest frustration with people is that I expect them to make sense.

He has to be the most irritating person in the world to listen to.  Watching the people who follow this guy around makes me sad.

If I cared that much about a "cause", and I was that big of a joke, I would keep my name/face miles away from my "cause", knowing that being publicly involved is only going to ruin my mission.  Whereas Alex Jones seems to LOVE marketing himself.. I saw a page with like, all kinds of discounts on "Alex Jones" t-shirts.. :facepalm3:

What an idiot.

Jordan Maxwell had me entertained until I heard him talk about his alien encounter outside of Area 51. :facepalm3:

9/11 is the only conspiracy theory I believe in.  I have no thoughts as to who did it or why, I couldn't possibly know -- but it's pretty clear to me the towers did not fall the way the government said they did.  I hate all forms of government.  Lately I've hated most forms of people, too.. but I try to love everyone - it's hard when I'm not on acid.  I actually recall contemplating murder on LSD - that was quite a tricky moral-maze, and a long story.

As long as people like this are preaching a cause they will be consistently passed off as paranoid idiots.

I like, and prefer to read from montalk .net

I believe in a matrix control system; and I like the way montalk describes some of us as having "spiritual immune systems" that eventually revolt or reject our surroundings and cause us to start looking for answers.

I love Jungian psychology.  Carl Jung was a genius.  I've had similar realizations to his theories on archetypes while on psychedelics.  It directly attributes to my spirituality, to which I am a proud pagan.

Most people around here flee if I tell them I am pagan, the church literally tells them that pagans are all witches and do magic/are all about evil.

I seriously don't know.. how I can help this world.  I've always wanted to do something great with my life but it all just seems like it's way too late.  The world has never been this ugly.

I guess that's what makes us beautiful.. our short-lived ignorance will catch up with us as the world inside and around our world is exposed.

I still have no idea if I am a good person, a bad person, a person who deserves to die, a person who deserves happiness, or a person at all.

Doctors are telling me I have a personality disorder.  I can barely talk to people anymore, the anxiety has become to great and now I can barely find reasons to leave my home.

Something has to change, with the world the way it is I'm not so sure I can change myself - I manipulate myself.

So, here's to the process of individuation.. here's to 2012 being the birth of a new human consciousness, here's to being tested and finding out how much my love and hate is worth.

I read somewhere that Timothy Leary's last spoken word was "beautiful".

Let's hope he wasn't lying to himself.

How can I save the world.. if I can't even save myself?

EDIT_
sorry for any ranting.  I'm having a rough time and these topics tend to make my mind wander and my heart crawl into a cold, confused little ball.

I'm lost.

man at first you were coming off as a pretty good judge of psychological stability, but it sort of fell apart at the end there

good luck w/ your crippling anxiety and apocalyptic fantasies

Hehe.. yeah.

I won't argue with that diagnosis.  If I actually spent time writing something I would probably avoid talking about how it makes me feel, for obvious reasons.

I actually do have a pretty good judge of character, you know.. when I'm not having lucid dreams, looking at myself in a mirror, or contemplating the meaning of life.

But, as I have spent some time reading/researching in this area.. I had to say something.  I should have just left it at "Alex Jones is an idiot" and I probably would have gotten a bunch of +5's in my general ratings.

so what does being a pagan entail. can you give me your description or understanding of what being a pagan involves and whether you have any sort of religous beliefs or traditions that you have to observe?

For me it's mostly about nature.  I entertained a lot of religions before finding comfort with paganism, and the one I was closest to believing in was Buddhism, for obvious reasons.

The best description of paganism I've encountered is simply a person who self identifies as pagan.

Now, facts about paganism are a bit of a gray area.

I do not believe in any "god" or "gods" like some pagans, to me.. Nature *IS* the holy spirit.  I don't believe the universe ever had a beginning or will have an end - I believe it's hard for humans to comprehend because we are mortal.  I believe before the first mortal took it's breath time was non existent.  I believe in the constant recycling of everything in the universe, on earth Pagan's tend to celebrate the passing of the seasons, the equinoxes - I celebrated my first Ostara in march by taking a walk through the woods alone.

It's a self-made religion, exactly as Timothy Leary tried to teach.

I believe in balance, whether that balance be the beauty in chaos or the symphony of joy and love.  It's all about the balance, and getting it right.  I find the yin yang to be of tremendous significance for that reason, although it's a little hard to explain without sounding like I have a taste for dualism, which I do not.

People.  "We are the universe questioning it's own existence" said Hofmann.  I couldn't agree more.

I believe in Darwinism; to a certain extent as well.

Pretty much everything man made is complete rubbish to me.  The bible is a laughing stock, although I share similar biblical views as that of Jordan Maxwell (we don't share all views), but I agree with him in the pretext that the bible is an important story that tells us a hidden message about history.

Maybe it's a creative imagination.. I'll never know.  But the answers I've come to seem like obvious truth's to me.

In the end, nature is what it's about.

So, in a way I absolutely believe in god and my faith couldn't be any stronger.  But at the same time, the idea of Christian god is complete nonsense to me.

Think of it like kind of like in fight-club.  We are all part of the same compost heap.. Imagine the universe as ONE thing, recognize that your body is made up of flesh and bone, which comes from the earth, which comes from the solar system, and so on.  It's easy to recognize that the human body has only one thing the physical world of nature cannot replicate on it's own.. the soul.

I believe when I die, all of my human pre-occupations will dissipate, that my body will re-enter the compost heap and my soul will move on - I believe it to be an unconscious experience.

I love Jungian psychology.  Archetypes directly attribute to what I'm talking about.  It's like reincarnation, but it's not.

All of it is very hard to explain.  I don't know any other pagans and I rarely have the opportunity to discuss my beliefs with people who take me seriously.

Timothy Leary once said that All of children are born perfect.. genetic perfections of our previous selves.

I couldn't agree more.. and it was quotes like that that made me KNOW, not guess.. that we were one of the same.  Children of the stars.

Any specific questions.. I really don't know what your curious about.. if it's Pagan traditions I don't really know much about them, as I was not born into a religious family and there are practically no pagans around my area that I am aware of.

I guess I stopped talking about my faith because of all the Christian haters.  Telling me I'm going to hell, that I have false beliefs.. etc.  I have to remind myself that they are mislead... but it's hard not to hate people so ignorant.

I'll try to explain whatever I can.. this really does mean a lot to me.
