So Fargo just disappointed the hell out of me

Such a waste of time. I always thought this would be one of those movies that would blow me away, but I don't even think I'd give it more than a 3/10. Anyone actually a fan of this movie and want to explain to me why?

Its possible. My cousin and I both pretty much saw it as pointless. It had its moments I guess, but is nothing special in my eyes. I like to think that I have good taste in movies.

About the only two things I remember from this movie was the terrible northern accents and the chipper shredder.

I thought it was great. I don't like many movies and hardly watch any, but I always seem to enjoy anything by the coen brothers :shrug:

Have you seen No Country for Old Men?  Did you think that sucked too?

Maybe you just don't like the Cohen brothers' style, which is sort of a cinematic existentialism.  I like their films but the meanings and aesthetics and everything are pretty subtle and transient.

Something you have to realize is the Coen brothers hate people in their movies.  There's never a happy ending.

Me too, except i found the accents to be one of the best things in the movie, hilarious.
