Help installing adobe photoshop

I am using a torrent download which my friend transferred to my computer.

In the instructions before step 1, it says in bold letters:

"TURN INTERNET OFF!!!!"

How do i do this? - Working offline doesn't work, and it loads an XML script in my browser..

HELP.

I'm not a computer person but from personal experience I can say that torrent downloading programs (& sometimes sharing programs like LimeWire) usually don't work right if you have your web browser open.

It doesn't mean work offline, it just means to dedicate your web connection solely to your download and not surf the web at the same time.

I usually just open the downloading program and only that and leave my computer completely alone until it's done downloading whatever I'm getting. Makes it work faster.

I've already loaded it onto my friends computer from my friends external hard drive so it's not downloading.

I suppose i actually need help installing it..

When i click setup it opens a web browser though with an xml script that means nothing to me.

:shrug:Sorry mate, I can't help you out. I'm VERY computer illiterate, I just know what I said from past torrent experience. Maybe someone else will be able to help.

I just downloaded the same torrent yesterday and  photoshop works great :super:
