wow that sucks she wont help ya out, but you could put some thought into automating irrigation to some of the ones that cant stand being dry too long, i know my mom uses these weird lil bulbs of water jammed into the soil that slowly trickles water in. couldnt be to technical to take a drink bottle and pop a hole in the cap and shove her in the dirt or something to that effect

Yeah mate, figure out some kinds of drip system.

Those should hold them through.

I believe the canna lilies are a drought-tolerant plant here, so should do ok for a week or at least half without water.

nah she is gonna help. i had to give her 7 inches of love so its on now.

i will still worry like crazy cause i don't trust her to do it. she is pregnant and tired all the time. so i will be biting my nails the whole time.

and thanks danny that info. i;m glad they will be okay but i will have to call everyday to make sure she waters them.

maybe i'll get to a rig that is close by so i can go home every day. that is highly unlikely though.
