and so is a rapidshare account (best investment of my life) + rapid.org. of course, only to get software for testing.

Use demonoid to download Cubase or Ableton. Its a pretty safe torrent site you need an invite though.:grin:

As of right now i am using Abelton with my Korg Padkontrol and it works wonders.:cool:

Ableton is a pretty confusing program at first but after messing around with it I have a better understanding on how everything works.

It's worth the £4 a month to get consistent max-speed downloads :bobmarley:

I gotta say though, I'm more of a warez-bb fan than rapid.org

I have a lot of fun with Propellerhead's Reason software.  Unfortunatly I'm a talentless hack, so all my music ends up sounding lame.

Not the programs fault though :smile:

I used lmms around 4 years ago on linux, it was surely the best for the OS. never used it on windows though. it sucked not to be able to use VST plugins at the time, now I realize that you can emulate through wine, but I'm sure not all the good ones :frown:
the LADSPA plugins ain't too bad though :laugh:

It runs directly on Windows also and now has full VST support. It is becoming more and more Fruity equivalent.
