Nope the coding on this one would actually be pretty easy, but generally I resist calls to wall off our garden. If there's enough demand I'll consider this feature, but it would probably only remain in effect as long as the author was an active supporter.

Okay, there is now a checkbox to "prevent search engines from indexing this thread" when you compose or edit a thread. The option isn't available for individual replies because search spiders doesn't offer such fine-grained control over indexing. If you want to verify it's working you can view source and look for the <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> tag. Also note that if a thread is already indexed and you change the setting, it could take up to several weeks for it to be removed from Google. Finally, if your supporter status expires your threads will be available to index again, but we save them and if you renew they will once again be hidden from spiders. Please let me know if you notice any problems with this functionality.
