I should have encouraged everyone to vote in the title, yes. I did want to see what proportion of people owned a guitar.. though the current results still do tell. Amazing instrument.. capable of so much.. and then you get into alternate tunings. :eek:

Yeah, "know how to play" could be defined differently. I can play like two songs and most of my chords (well could, haven't tried in a while) and wouldn't consider myself to know how to play.

But there are people that are worse than me that think they can...:crazy2:

Yeah, I love it.  It's got a very warm sound. 

Got it for Christmas 3 years ago.  Before that I had like an 80$ fender.

I think I've plateaued when it comes to ability, which is fine for me, I like where I'm at. I will continue on to shit out awesome riffs for my brethren, though.

I have a bitchin Ibanez bass and a crappy Rogue acoustic guitar.

I'm a slap chop machine on the bass.  Still learning the guitar, though (the strings are so close together!  I have trouble playing open notes cause I'm always accidentally muting them)

Ive had a few, but what Im currently playing is this early 90s EPI LEs paul............It was black and cream and I decided to change it up a bit..........

It took me Months to get it where I like it, sanded down to bare ass naked wood, filled, dyed, sanded, dyed, sanded, dyed,.....Did I mention sanded LOL......

Then I did the poly coat, steel wool, poly, steel wool, poly....Etc.....Till I was comfy, then let it all harden up for a week...and wax her up, install all new gear.....And jam out LOL........

Just wanted to share as Ive never taken on a project like this before and I was happy with the results...........
