I could have sworn there was some kid on the Shroomery arguing the same thing in all seriousness recently.  Was talking about "ego death" on nitrrous.

I do have to confess that wwhen I was in high school we did think it was cool as hell.  Used to buy the little cannisters by the case at some kitchen supply store.

i wish i could find where i read this but i'm pretty sure native americans found ways to use nitrous oxide by using underwater gas pockets.

They used buffalo blankets - the practice was first reported on by Dutch traders and trappers. Who carried the tradition back to Amsterdam

Hence the name to this day.  Giving someone a "dutch high" pretty common N20 slang. As is the "covered wagon" - same native American origin.

Chargers are more portable than tanks are.

Still cheap too when you buy them in cases of 600.

actually it is. they sell them online. Or you can just steal one. I got mine from behind a bar at night. 30lber too. just pulled my car up and threw it in the trunk.

yes they sell industrial grade tanks for cars

i know its easy to get an empty gas tank as well, but filling it isn't just so "easy"

No reason to go to all the hassle and legal issues of buying a tank - they sell those cartridges legally all over the place.  You can even buy them in a lot of supermarkets and kitchen supply stores at the mall.

Why did a bar have one out back?  Was it the kind of nitrous that made your voice crazy squeeky?  That means its very high quality, pure stuff. Not like that other crap.

theres no "medical grade nitrous tank" - you can fill any tank with any gas. It's just having a connect to get it filled. For example, the tank I have had a sticker on it saying it was filled with ___________ (cant remember, maybe CO2???) I just peeled off the sticker, emptied the tank, brought it to philly and they filled me up.

edit: oh i also just had to have the valve replaced cuz different gases use different valves.

all i have to do is order an empty tank off the internet then drive all the way across the country to philly to fill it?
damn that just sounds so ridiculously easy i dont know why i never thought of that. :facepalm::facepalm:

everyone knows they fill your tanks in philly no questions asked, a lot of those places have been shut down FYI. and i also know you can get tanks at festies pretty much ALL shows/concerts have people selling them wholesell for around 300-400$. i know whats up with nitrous, just because i use whippits too, doesn't mean im dim with the nitrous down low.
