Cannabutter in my area is an actual brand of weed butter. Not sure on the price at my local clubs.

He asked the prices in our area, which is stupid, because no one in their right mind would buy Cannabutter, and if you buy cannabutter, you're pretty stupid because you are getting ripped off. You're better off making it yourself and you can know the actual potency of the butter.

I know full well cannabutter is sold in dispensaries, but OP utterly failed to make that qualification and it is completely unreasonable to assume that everyone would know what you're talking about, assuming he's even talking about that.

Anyways if someone tried to sell me some cannabutter, like a q/p of cannabutter with a 1/4oz in it, I'd pay slightly more than just the weed itself was worth. Someone else did all the straining and clarifying for me.

Yeah. The strength of butter and food varies between dispensaries. A lot of time dispensary food is actually fairly weak. You are almost certainly better off buying the weed and making it yourself, but it's really nice to just buy pre made food and butter.

NO that is NOT what he asked.  If he wanted to know that he would have said "what do the dispensaries in your area sell cannabutter for?"  Its very simple.

Regardless of what he WAS asking.

The responses are still funny as Hell. YOU might want to look into what the clubs and disepnsaries in your area are selling senses of humor for.

Only people I've ever seen selling cannibutter is growers, people usually don't use perfectly good weed to make ghee, they usually use leaves.  I've seen it for like 100 bucks for a half pint, which should be enough to make a decent batch of cookies.  You can find it, but its easier for them to just get bubble bags and make hash and sell that. 
The price will vary greatly, but it should cost significantly less than weed because its pretty much just extra income from leaves, most bigger growers just burn them anyway.  Potency can vary greatly though, there's a lot of different ways to make it.

No one I know sells cannabutter. However, when SWIM makes pot cookies/brownies/other baked goods, they go for $5, and the cost to make them is about $25 a dozen when large batches are made.

I don't know why you guys are having such trouble understanding this.


So if he asked for prices in your area one would assume its the prices for wherever you can get them from including clubs. And you are telling me they do not sell it on the street. Which just leaves mj clubs as a source. He did not have to specify what he meant.l So if you are saying they only sell it at clubs then one could assume hes asking for club prices. And there is always the rare person that can buy it on the street so he left it in general including any source possible.:shrug:


Let me put this in a way anyone could understand.

Lets just say someone makes a thread asking for prices of magic gum drops in your area.

And the only place to buy magic gum drops is at the magic gum drop store.

Everyone starts making jokes saying  that you cannot buy magic gum drops on the street when the guy never even said you could.

So when he asked for prices he probably meant at the magic gum drop store. But he left it open in the title to include any source.

I cant make it any simpler.
