i'm in the process of trying to find one right now.  there are so many interesting positions to choose from.  most seem to be like restorative efforts and self-sustainable farmstays in amazing regions.  some are lame with their "no smoking, no alcohol, no meat, no caffeine, no fun" attitudes.  but overall i've been incredibly impressed by the efforts these people are making and their willingness to provide rather complete accommodations i.e. separate guesthouses.

haha.  i guess i'm the only one enthralled by this.  makes sense, since i'm about to do it.  but it's fucking awesome i tell you.

in other news, some spanish/catalan cutie i met at a club just sent me an email.  sweet.

also, talking to a chick on couchsurfing who is looking for a hitchhiking partner in southern europe.  so i might partner up with her for a couple of weeks to HH around spain and france.  she's totally a cutie.

i'm learning how to get by on very little money.  it's awesome.  and it's introducing me to a whole new subculture. 

apparently i don't look poor enough for free eats handouts though.  i was hanging out with this other hitchhiker right as i got into barcelona.  we sat around and talked for some hours.  near midnight he went and talked to the guy running the restaurant at the truckstop and convinced him to give us some free food.  when i went up there to get it, he was reluctant to give me any because i looked too rich.  haha.
