better than aphex twin

pretty crazy, this guy has been better than aphix twin since 2000...

aninator mentioned him to me last year, and i guess right after that venitian snares invited him on tour and he should hopefully be getting kinda popular.

meh :shrug: it's decent IDM, but AFX is key.  Check out Cex, good stuff there as well.

i dunno, this kind of post jungle IDM, aphex never got this slick and polished.  the closest he came was druqks, and most of wisps stuff is on the same level with more production tricks.  low quality youtube vid isn't going to really emphasize the difference.

actually now that i think of it, there is so few people making decent IDM out there, yeah this work is derivative but i can only name maybe 4 people that do it well: aphex twin, squarepusher, venetian snares, and now wisp.

flashbulb, cex, (thats that guy called? the power company?), is weaksauce imo.
