All math pre-calc. texts
    #12081310 -

So, I've taken differential calculus and would like to move on to integral calculus, differential equations and so on, but I want to run through my basic math skills. I also want this for it's uses in chemistry and physics courses that I'm taking. I'm not really sure where to turn as far as a text for self-study. I would like something more comprehensive than just a pre-calc book, so I was hoping to find one that's sort of a general math book up to calc. Maybe I'm asking for too much, not too sure. Any suggestions?

Thats is a little vague.  You have completed calc I but still need help in algebra?  What specifically is giving you trouble?  Normally pre-calc texts cover college algebra and trigonometry.  Graphing, Polynomials, exponentials and logs, matrices, unit ciricle and trig funtions and more - its alot of shit.

If you want to know what you need for Calc II that pretty much all of that except for maybe matrices.

It would be helpful to know more about what you know and what you want.  Did you struggle in Calc I and want to do better in II?  Has it been along time since you took Calc I?  Are you doing this for a degree that will have certain requirements or for your own personal gain?

Good luck with the math!

Oh yea, here is the pre-calc text I used.  It seems good, and is cheap - http://product.half.ebay.com/Precalculus_W0QQtgZinfoQQprZ1814585
