Astrology and Shrooms

I'm not quite sure this is the right place to post this so apologies in advance if it's not.

Anyway I'm just curious as to what your signs are and how your mushroom trips are. Which I know they're always different but I'm just curious.

I'm an aquarius.

I've only tripped once but it was very spiritual. I wanted nothing to do with mankind, I could have gone and sat in the forest forever. And just consumed myself with nature. Also, I was very changed after my trip. I thought about it a lot and contimplated life and what not.  I know my trips won't always be the same but maybe the way I view them and what I take out of it will be similar? And I thought it'd be interesting to see others views and what their signs were and all the funky stuff haha.

i don't see how shrooming can be influenced by what sign you are,  the fundamental experience tends to be the same no matter who you are...

it's like asking, how do strawberries taste different based on your sign...

the reaction to shrooms is a physiological one.

Well for what it's worth I'm an Aquarius as well and almost all of my shroom trips are highly spiritual.

I'm not sure though.. the personality is influenced astrologically-
but the real question is how much does the personality influence your experience of psychedelics?

It depends on how much of your natal chart allows your position of your sun chart to be a prominent part of your psychological thought process. :shineon:

My Sun, Moon, Mercury and Jupiter are all in Aquarius.

I don't agree with this. Though I doubt it would be easy to find any real correlation to a mushroom trip and someone's astrological sign, the trip has a large basis in a person's psychological makeup. Yes there are certain constants (time distortion, visual changes, etc,) but it is different than, say, taking an amphetamine, which will have effects that are largely the same from person to person. My trips even change based upon what I have been feeling, reading about, what state of mind I have been in for the last week, etc.

Wow, look at all those planets crammed in that one area of your chart!
But your Moon is thrown out there in Virgo, I bet that throws you off just a tad. Full moon people are always exhibiting traits atypical of their Sun signs.

My best friend has the whole Capricorn/Pisces dynamic as well. He's stable yet transient, introverted yet craves deep emotional connection...
Earth and Water work well together for the most part though; same with Air & Fire.

You're right- I'm not that imbalanced. I know this girl whose chart looks like this:



Fucking crazy! I haven't discovered her birth time yet, so she may well be Virgo Rising as well..  :weirdeyes:

Haha yea dude thats crazy!

But the whole virgo/moon, pisces/mercury thing throws me off...

And the venus in Aquarius makes me extremely eccentric!

Im also a cancer in chiron/ascendent!

He's probably one of the most eccentric goats you'll ever meet!

I'm a Cancer,  but I have a lot of air signs in my chart.



My mushroom trips have been more psychological than spiritual, in the sense that they've helped me sort out a lot of mental garbage and take a step outside myself.  My more spiritual trips have generally been on LSD.

Mmm I suppose I just disagree. But we all have different opinions on everything, thats just life. I'm not saying that if your an aquarius your going to have spiritual trips. I just asked the question based on curiosity to see if anything stuck out.

I suppose this stuff is just really interesting to me and shrooms and their effects are interesting to me as well so I tried to put them together.

And I completely get that it's different every time based on whats going on in your life, setting, all that stuff. Anyway yeah haha life goes on :p

I believe I am aquarius, aqaurius, capricorn haha
