They're going to weatherize my house ... closet issue ...

I'm not growing any illegal mushrooms ... just medicinal ones started ... but I have actually reconstructed my entire closet - removed shelf and put up plastic sheeting and have a martha setup in there ... it just looks sketchy. I do NOT want to be on the "man"'s radar one bit whatsoever, ever. Does anyone here know what they will be looking at? They said it would take a few hours to inspect ... also, it's not like I hired them, I'm poor and they are from the help-poor-people with their rent & heating bills-office ... I get cheap rent and free heat in the winter, etc... so I'm a little disadvantaged in that one) it's not my house or anything and 2) they're from the state so to speak... anyhow, they won't need to get into the closet, will they? It's a CLOSET for crying out loud. should I just make a big pile of stuff in front of it and say, "oh sorry, cleaning day ..." ? - would that look weird? I have a few days to prepare. PLEASE someone a genius idea or some insight ... please?

gawd it was so much WORK though. I may have to huh. that would ease my mind. it's so funny, I'm not even DOING anything, I just know how people perceive what's in there might get me talked about or investigated ... I'm in college for fucking mycology - legitimate mycology, for crying out loud. grrr.

Tell them it's homework or a project... nothing illegal.

Just make sure there are textbooks and work looking stuff in there. :smile:

OP, I'd either disassemble it or be honest with them about it and tell them you are in school for mycology.  Either way is likely to work if they don't see anything illegal.  Try not to act sketchy about it.

Just because you can buy it on ebay doesn't mean it is legal.

The controlled substances act says nothing about being processed or not.  It says that any thing that contains a controlled substance is a controlled substance.

When they banned mushrooms, they just added psilocybin to an already long list that also includes mescaline and dmt.  It doesn't matter what species of psilocybin mushrooms you have, or if they are processed.

Its not uncommon to be able to buy illegal stuff on ebay.  I see live peyote for sale sometimes, and until recently they sold poppy pods, which are just as legal as heroin.

BBB was distributing Schedule I substances.

I don't see how this could POSSIBLY be clearer. If something contains a Schedule I substance, the entire container is considered a Schedule I substance. If you get caught with pot brownies, you're going to be charged with the full weight of the brownies, regardless of how much weed is in them. When you get busted with LSD, they weigh the blotter paper and call it all LSD. DMT and mescaline are schedule I controlled substances, therefore possessing and distributing DMT and mescaline containing plants is illegal.
