Sign Wavers!
    #11948645 -

Haha so I got my first ever job as a sign waver for Liberty Tax. Hours aren't great at all but shit its a little bit of money in mah pockets. I dress up in a lady liberty costume, throw on some good dancy tunes and just groove for four hours. Its a lot of fun and I enjoy it, its super easy.

Has anyone else had experience doing a job like this? Did you like it? Did you hate it? How many times did you get flipped off? Cause I get the bird like three times a shift at least.

I almost took a sign waving job, but the retard did not know how to advertise on cragslist and the job was pretty far from where the advertisement said.  Listening to music and waving around a sign sounds like a pretty relaxed way of earning a little extra money.

Why do people give you the finger, I dont understand

Dude I don't understand either....fuckin pricks.

Its such an easy job...I just dance with the sign in my hands basically the whole time. They pay me 9 bucks an hour which is pretty good for a part time gig.

$9 an hours is great pay for that job. They have all the homless people in my town do the sign jobs so they can pay the min.

id proly give u the finger.
  just kidding.
nah, id totaly throw a bucket of paint at you tho!
nah, i can think of much worse things than that!
and realy, u dont know why people give u the finger?  um, because they can, and they are imbeciles.  the quicker u figure out that there are millions of those kinds out there, the better off u are.  or at least, the less confused u are as to why people are, well, imbeciles!
but yea, id be more scared of people throwing half full cups of soda and shit at me or anything for that matter.  still, pretty lame people feel the need to do that for sure.  do u give the finger back?  surely not even worth it.  just curious.
ive thought about taking one of those jobs before.....i guess id proly do it if it was the type of thing where, if i show up i get paid, but if i dont, whatever.  i dont know if i can go about fillin out an application, and having set hours, but obviously that would be necesary enough for such a job.  but, if i could walk in somewhere and be like, you guys got signs?  will u pay me to hold it for a while, i proly would.  and then just work a few hours, get up enough for some beers and a lil nug, and be like, ok im done for today, c ya tommorow, maybe.  or untill i run out of nug and beer.  and then go back for x amount of hours again.  wouldnt that be the life!  :paperbag:

Nobody has ever thrown anything at me yet, thank god. I kind of get it, that those people are imbeciles. I just have to smile and wave em off whenever they decide to shoot the shitty sign language at me.

I'm sure a lot of places actually do what you say you would do, totes.

Im not saying you have to have a desk job or make a million dollars. But I better be getting fuckin paid good money to stand out there looking like a fuckin retard freezing my ass off my 9 an hour so
I could try and lure people in to get their taxes done. fuck that.

its brought me much "furthur", i think, in the ways of contentness, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness than any other type of luxury could ever bring about, imho.  give me 20 dollars a day and ill show u a life lived happily on....20 dollars a day!  sure, more is nice, but, ill survive and be happy enough.  fuck, i could do with less than that even.  sometimes more, sometimes less.  always nice to be able to save up for something.  but, all in all, dont need much at all regardless. :dancingshroom:

It has little to do with money.  More along the lines of ambition and productivity.
