Allergy shots

Me and my girl are thinkin about getting them
because we are both are allergic to cats but we
both love em.

Anyone here get them? Do they work?

they are hella annoying.  i dunno if they work or not because i' havent been stung by a bee since i got them

I was thinking about taking them anyways because of
seasonal shit so a shot once a month or whatever it is,
is not a big deal.

i got them for a while because i'm allergic to most things.
they boost the allergen up every few weeks, and one time they did that i got hives everywhere, eyes and throat swelling, and was going into anaphylactic shock so they had to give me an epi-pen.
being extreemely itchy and dealing with the epinephrine was so awful.
they wouldn't give me the shots anymore after that.

the shots did help a little bit though.  it depends on how bad your allergies are.
now i'm perfectly fine with being a little itchy and taking some benedryl here and there.
