Watch this movie!  Tell me, is there a better anime?  I love Spirited Away, liked Totoro, liked Nausicca, liked Howl's Moving Castle a lot, liked Ponyo a reasonable amount.

This movie is so damn Epic.  And talk about a score!! A++

Miyazaki is pretty good. I like Howl's Moving Castle the best followed by Princess Mononoke

Totoro
Ponyo
Nausica

oh, and Ghibli did Earthsea too, but not Miyazaki.  I think his son directed it.  Anyway, that one was pretty fecking good too.

im not really into anime but from what ive seen Miyazaki is pretty cool. i liked Ponyo and Spirited Away.

i still need to see Princess Mononoke and Kiki's Delivery Service.

princess mononoke is def. my favorite anime

howl's moving castle on mesc. was :awetrippie:, especially towards the middle of the movie. I watched about half of it, then got to this one scene where finally everything was so trippy looking, i had to save the rest for tripping. that scene where he encounters the queen or whoever and the background changes was :aweoverdose:

and spirited away is definitely beloved for me and great

i think those are the only ones of his movies i've seen, the rest are on my list to watch though

Ahhhhh Princess Mononoke is one of my favorite movies ever.  Spirited Away and howl's are both great too.  I love anything from Miyazaki.

If Paprika is anything like princess i'll have to download it.  I been looking for more movies like these

Actually Grave of the Fireflies was probably better than Samurai X, that shit made me cry.

I liked that one too.  I keep forgetting that more ghibli movies exist.  That one was okay.  too depressing to be very enjoyable.  pretty slow paced too.  i expected more from it.

Howl's Moving Castle was cool for the first like 4 hours of the damn thing.

Motherfucker dragged ON and ON

Spirited away is my favorite Miyazaki film

Princess Mononoke was really cool though.

So the general consensus is that Ponyo is good?

I will pick it up.

Ponyo is good.  visually stunning like the others.  not my favorite, but worth watching.

As far as I'm concerned, Animé is weird shit that should be isolated to Japan and never allowed to leave.

...This was my view until a few months ago, until I saw this film. It was really good; since then I've seen the first half of Spirited Away, which also looked amazing too. Wish I could watch the second half, though.
