i've come to find out that DA is still kinda buggy, i've got about 50hours into or so and i think i have to restart(when i get the desire to play again that is).. since im not connected online i cant hope for a "patch" to fix it.. womp wommmp

I'm lvl 9 right now and I really hate those random gravestones. I made the mistake of bothering one and this huge thing spawned from it and killed the whole group within a few hits of magic. I guess they're for a higher level quest?

Its so very buggy. both me and my friend ran into un-passable bugs and had to restart from scratch...

I uninstalled it after that happened, but I just got an intense urge to play it again actually...
It was fun when it worked correctly.

This game is the bomb, reminds me of how much I loved Neverwinter Nights.

My main is a primal/spirit mage... Virulent Walking Bomb + fireball = :awebig:

Hm, I beat this game a while back and enjoyed it...

But I really don't think it's anything too spectacular. 

A few of my gripes about the game: (just my humble opinion, no offense to die hard fans out there)
  • Combat (especially skills and abilities) was underwhelming.
  • The shameless integration of pay-to-play content.
  • Game world seem somewhat lifeless (i.e. Denerim Market)
  • Many typical fantasy cliches fulfilled.
  • The cheesy "cinematic" feel.
  • Cliche music.


In my opinion, Risen was the better RPG of 2009.  It's a shame it didn't get more recognition.

Sick game. I started off with a dwarf commoner bezerker, reaver warrior with 2h weapons. But then I lost wynne getting the reaver specialisation and was getting constantly raped without a healer, so I started again as a dual wielding rouge dalish. Doin so much better this time.

Sounds like an upgrade is long overdue. DA is not That graphically intensive.

Good game overall, lots of replay value, started first with a human warrior, that went ok, but second time around made a human mage, lots better especially if i'm going to kill wynne again and make morgana my heals XD

just got dragon age for psp.  got it used and some asshole used the free DLC code :crankey:
so I'm emailing EA telling them i got it new and it didn't come with a code even though it says its supposed to, and Imma jew them out of a free one.
