did you take highschool seriously?

i sure didn't, but i graduated.

in grades 8-10 i was fucking around all the time, skipping, getting drunk/stoned at school.

i didn't even go in the ninth grade.

and in the eleventh i fucked around all first semester, and in the second i finally started taking it seriously.

grade 12 was easy as fucking pie, besides going back for an extra 4 months to finish math :facepalm:

I took biology and chemistry very seriously. And im so glad I did. Now I start to appreciate the hard work I had to put back in highschool. As for the other subjects hell no. My least favorite were literature and history.

I did.  I slacked in physics senior year because I just didn't fucking get the math.  The theory had me captivated but then it came time to solve equations and shit and I threw in the towel.  I actually enjoyed high school.  I wasn't a part of any clique, I socialized with all cliques and got some respect for it. 

Middle school on the other hand, I just about wanted to kill myself.  That was the worst experience of my life.

no i did not, much to the dismay of my parents.

i still got ok grades in classes i didn't like, and really REALLY good grades in sujects I enjoyed without trying very hard.

my senior year was a joke, especially cuz i applied and got into school early decision.

at my high school graduation all the cheerleaders were sobbing and crying. i was like SHIT this is the best day of my life see ya fuckers!!

I learned how to sell pot and make more money than my friends who had after school jobs :shrug:

I also got really fucking good at drinking beer

Passed with a 4.8 GPA and was ranked in top 10%... I definitely did my work but by no means did I over exert myself.. it was highschool

I've had lots of college offers but I don't wanna go yet, I have no idea what I want to do yet.. plus I don't feel like doing something I'm not ready for yet, I'd probably fuck it up and end up wasting lots of money :shrug:

College aint cheap either and I don't have anyone to help me pay for it so it's all out of my pocket besides maybe some government assistance or something

I didn't start smoking weed until I was a little over 18, and I'm kind of glad.  That place would've felt like a prison.

High school was a fucking joke and a half.

I was in AB physics and trig in the 8th grade, college level english and so on.. when I got to high school it was like I got dropped back 5 years. I wasn't learning a damn thing and I couldn't deal with their bullshit brainwashing Nazi regime, my high school wasn't a place to learn, it was a social conditioning camp.

I got expelled 14 times in my freshman year and broke some record..halfway through my sophomore year I got expelled and dropped out. High school was a fucking joke, I just caused as much havoc as possible. I was a pothead all through school so I'm sure that had some impact. The jocks used to make fun of us, calling us potheads and losers and whatnot, then a couple years later when they started getting into college and shit, all of a sudden we were the coolest guys around to them and they were asking us for hookups and to hangout, ha.

I invented this game in high school called hallway of destruction. Basically you wait until everyone is in class, then you sprint down the hallfways causing as much destruction as possible in as short amount of time as possible. Jump on the railing, tear posters off walls, spins get extra points.. you pretend you are super mario brothers, and jump up and punch out ceiling tiles, 20 points if you split them cleanly in half, only 10 if they break up.

Well I think I first did when I was 16. I had a friend who lived right next to school, and I basically lived at his house. There was a group of 3-4 of us and we pretty much all lived there, lived off of fast food every day, smoking, and just having a good time. I miss it very very much :sad: Actually being in school was horrible though - hardly anything interesting going on.

4.8 gpa? I didn't even know that's possible. I never asserted myself in school - so I'm not sure what I would have gotten. I'm not challenged by much - I just don't like doing things simply because they waste time :eek:

i was high everyday throughout my entire highschool, and still left with good grades.  I did not take it seriously at all, because there is no need to, its simple shit.  Though, i got my ass kicked my first year of college...grade school does not prepare you in any way for college, i had no study skills at all, or methods to get larger projects done.  Graduated top 15% of my class (94 average), and barely made it through my first semester of college at all...though by the end of my sophmore year and all the way to graduation, it got to the point that college was pretty easy too...just had to 'learn' how to do it

I did not take high school even close to seriously. It almost fucked me over when I got to college too as I had no idea how to be a human being instead of an 18 year old brat.

Same here. And I also took high school (well...the local equivalent) quite seriously. I couldn't do it like that anymore :laugh:
