Congrats on economizing to the max.  Nothing wrong with that if your used to it, although as a non-smoking ex-smoker the imagery seems foul.

Amen to that.  I'm so glad I'm not a compulsive smoker anymore but quitting was an absolute bitch and it's very depressing to realize how much of a slave you've become to the substance.  Now I seem to be able to get away with smoking on special occasions without falling back into a daily routine but I'll never let my guard down again with the stuff.

It was a great high by itself until I got addicted, but it still provides a very euphoric rush now in tandem with alcohol or opiates.

i'm not even close to being a heavy smoker.  a little pack of rolling tobacco will last me nearly a month.  i only smoke a few small ones a day.  i can go without, and have in recent history.  but i didn't feel like it when i realized there was good tobacco just going to waste in the plastic bag right next to me.
