Hot Sauces

Are any shroomerites fans of hot sauces? I'm getting through a bottle of Spontaneous Combustion. Pretty damn hot, but it's nice on cheese on toast. Had some Sphincter Shrinker a while ago. Really nice fruity taste but also fuckin hot.

So what was the hottest sauce you ever tried?

I've tried a couple of the crazy ass
ones with my dad at motorcycle shows.
I usually just have the stand-by sauces
in my house. I dig the Habanero Tabasco
sauce right now but I'd reeeeeaally like
to get into the mega-kind stuff, considering
how often I use the stuff.

The hottest thing I had was a piece of ghost pepper.  I don't think anything is hotter than that.

As for sauces I like all sorts of different kinds depending on what I am eating.

:sriracha: chile sauce is always a keystone of my meals.

Man, I don't know how you guys do it, when I hear people talk about hot sauces and how they're good, I just think of people saying "Hey man I just stabbed my tongue and it was pretty awesome, you wanna try it?":lol:

I must have a weak tongue or stomach or something, because I cannot stand spicy food whatsoever. Even the mild sauce at Taco Bell is way too hot for me.

It seems, too me, that is, that adding hot sauce of any kind onto anything is like adding unpleasantness to whatever I'm eating.

The only "hot" thing that I enjoy is ginger, and I can chomp down a whole root if you'd want me to.

I don't know if I'm supposed to train myself to "enjoy" it, or if the taste is acquired over time, either way, I've tried my share of hot sauces and they all taste like an unpleasant burning sensation.

My applause goes out to anyone who can stomach hot sauce.

I'm a fan of Blair's "death sauce" line.  They have a very nice flavor, and a little bit goes a long way! 

Da Bomb on the other hand, while insanely hot, is also insanely disgusting.  I don't know what they put in it, but something about Da Bomb just doesn't agree with my taste buds...

Yea so many hot sauces are made to be hot and they forget about flavor.  I need my sauces to have flavor or what is the point?

i love hot things.  i've got quite the stomach for it.  but i must say i haven't exactly been adventurous with the number of sauces i've tried.  specialty hot sauces are too expensive and don't last long enough for me.  so usually i just have an industrial bottle each of sriracha, texas pete and frank's.

though german kahuna sent me some hot sauce when i first got to the farm.  it was a sweet habanero sauce with a nice kick.  it was quite fucking good.  gone in less than 2 weeks though.

I put a few drops of Daves in a large pot of chile, and it ruined it.I threw away the bottle.:shrug: is my favorite...sweet and hot..  . and good ole are always in the fridge and used weekly...(not weakly):shrug: . . . :peace:(of fire)

This is the only real hot sauce on your list IMO.  I love Daves Insanity sauces!  A few drops is all you need for a bowl of chili. :wink:

I call :sriracha: "Chinese Ketchup", or "Weaksauce".  "Weaksauce" also applies to Franks, Tabasco, Cholula, Tapatio, etc...

Yeah.  Their wing sauce is pretty good though.  Mad Anthony (Michael Anthony) makes a pretty good hot sauce too.  Anyway, the hottest I've had was a shot of Habanero Tobasco.  It wasn't the funnest thing I've ever done.

Franks' is pretty good as far as overall taste and spicey.

I prefer my hot sauces on my wings though
so I can't say I've had this brand of hot sauce
but I have had some of the best god damn wings I've ever had at this little place in north metro Atlanta called The Wing Ranch.
