Re: Nuclear sanctions [Re: DieCommie]

Even though I'm pissed about the government you old fools have given my generation, I do like my american life. Nuke's do give a certain sense of security. At the very least we can steal resources if need be.

My advice is to find those things that give pleasure and do them often without too much attachment and relax and wait for the show to end.

I like free markets and all. Truly I do, at least in general, but there needs to be some kind of oversight in recognition of sustainability. Life works the same way, on a bunch of sustainable systems. Why not honor what made us what we are and take some lessons? Nature FTW!

I really want to stay away from politics as much as possible in this thread.

I just find it ironic that the only nation to have ever used a nuclear weapon against another country tries to circumvent other nations from developing such a weapon as they might use them as a weapon of terror. (Not sure how else a nuke can be used...)

Of course, any thinking individual realizes there is no morality behind this stance. 'First World' nations don't want any others to enter the elite club because it levels the military playing field to a great extent - hence the demonization of the leaders of such countries trying to enter the big times.

Well at least we haven't gone into Iran yet to search for weapons, not find any and be there several years later like Iraq.  The latest word from British Intelligence is that a cabbie in Baghdad was the one to give the "tip" about the weapons.  Who writes this stuff?
