You mean, when he laughs, especially with his guests?

Yeah, I've seen that character-break. Actually, I've watched some YouTube videos where a guy made videos where he "analyzes" Stephen to see where he breaks character. What's his real personality like then? Is it actually a very liberal Leftist? That would be weird, but not surprizing...

I'm pretty sure he's independent of political parties, much like most comedians. the whole point of the show is that it's a satire that makes fun of right-winged people by using parodic exaggeration.
:einstein:

why would it be weird if he was left-winged if he's the creator of a show bashing republicans?

anyway,

Here's one....

The poster's name is LiberalViewer. He's got only a couple "character analyzing videos" up on YouTube, but there are other uploaders doing the same with their versions as well. Its an interesting hobby he has, and he even provides his own voice-over. Pretty cool past-time, if you ask me.

Check 'em out

stephen colbert and john stewart are both the best comedians at work in the USA today and it's most dependable, trustworthy news sources as well.

it's sad that the least biased, least spun, most realistic reporters in teh country are comics, but that is just sooooo USA.

Often times comedians tell it like it is, that's why they're so funny.

The best news is the news people read. Watching Stephen Colbert and John Stewart is like a reflection of facts that can't be clearly demonstrated because speaking plainly isn't encouraged. It's sad that everything has to be laughed at before it becomes real.

But having said that, it must be pretty sweet to get to be in the same room as a guy like that.
