I pulled the "I'm sick, I'm gonna stay home." tonight.
I'm not going to risk my life driving with my 74-year-old stoner grandma on highways on Christmas Eve to spend it with some real fucking Christ Stains and my stupid Christian banker cousin. I'm an Atheist Jew, quit pressuring me into celebrating your stupid bastardized holiday, already! Enough is enough!

Point being, no one believes the sick excuse, but they can't prove otherwise, and likely will never confront you about it.

AH you know, Ya got to do what you want. When you feel like going go. I dont feel like doing the whole Christmas Family thing every year. But with me it has more to do with how Im feeling and how my life is going around that time. I had a bad breakup with my Girlfriend last year.We were together for 5 years. And Im still not up to the "So are you seeing anyone els" Hows this and that" 100 times over and over.When all it does is bring me back to a very hard time. Its hard to be Merry and thankful when you loose your job,your girl,and your life is in shambles. Just remember that their are a lot of people  in the same boat,who have a tough time around the holidays. GL

I dropped L on xmas eve and stayed up all night.
Christmas party over at my uncle/aunts was a little uncomfortable.
Not like I was still tripping by then, but without sleep, It usually takes me at least 24 hours for the L to completely taper off.

Anyone ever listened to Dr. Oktogon before? :eek:
