Ok, so I simply ordered a g of salvia 15x off of bounching bear with my credit card and ordered first class on. So an hour later I get an email sayign they shipped it with a tracking number. So just an hour ago I called my local usps and they looked up my tracking number and got the same track but saying where its coming from and when i should expect it. On her computer it said it was supposed to be here on the 15th, but it says that it has not been scanned into the local usps yet(meaning it has NOT been delivered to my home yet.) All I could think about was did it maybe get confiscated in a state where its illegal? How can i figure this out? Heres my tracking number, the workers for usps get a different track with the same number, why? 9101805213907979852194

In my other life, I send small legal packages worldwide, I'm pretty good at it. Here's my take: The electronic scanning doesn't happen at every step- it's possible for a package to be delivered without ever showing up on the tracking. Most likely to be scanned are Priority Mail boxes with pre-printed bar code labels. Least likely, 1st class with a manual label. Now, if you have Delivery Confirmation with that tracking, it should get scanned by your local carrier upon delivery, or usually when they load the truck in the morning.
Why isn't your package tracking? Lots of possible reasons: 1) hasn't shipped yet 2) shipped with manual postage 3) stuck in holiday traffic 4) fell behind a crate and will be found later 5) was destroyed by accident or act of dog 6) it's going to be there soon- go check your mail box.
-------------------- You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?

Looking up that number, it seems like either it didn't ship yet (have you contacted the supplier?) or it's stuck somewhere. Lots of times if you drop off a package with a pre-printed label, they don't bother to scan it there- the first time it gets scanned might be at the destination. So if the plane is snowed in, there's nothing updated.
Also, the USPS tracking system is probably bogged down with the holidays.
