How can i tell if my Lophs and other cacti are dormant?
    #11699954 -

Is there a specific way to tell? I live in Zone 8 and have them in  windowsills. I have not watered in a while, but they all seem to be doing well. I would just like to know if you can see a change when dormant.

There's no significant change except they stop growing.

Dont water unless they begin to dehydrate, which shouldn't but can happen.

When you do only give them an EXTREMELY light watering.

if its to cold to walk outside in shorts and a t shirt, your cactus are probably dormant.
