Anyone else secretly enjoy any chick flicks?

I used to hate on them out of general principle... but of course the gf occasionally demands I watch one that she's really into. And I hate to admit it, but I'm a softy for some of them. Last one she made me watch was PS I Love You... which I hate to admit, I really enjoyed.

She's out of town at the moment, so tonight I watched Love Actually again (she made me watch it a couple years ago), and it got me all warm and gushy feeling.

Any of you enjoy chick flicks more than you'd admit if this wasn't anon?

That wasn't a chick flick, that was just a terrible time in Arnold's life. I think of Twins (and Junior, the other Schwarzenegger/DeVito pair-up) as the darkest chapter of Arnold's time on the big screen.

top gun is a chick flick? just because it has a sub plot about falling in love doesnt make it a chick flick, does it?

love actually, yes i would. i saw that with my sisters and i'm going to have to admit, i liked it.

Actually yes some of my favorite movies are "Chick flick's"

The Note Book was a pretty decent one. Glad I'm not the only one who's a sucker for the sappy ones. Maybe I can somehow trick my girl into thinking she wants to watch Down To You so I can have an excuse to watch it. :strokebeard:

yeah, your not alone man, especially the notebook, i always hate em to start just because of whats in my head, but i almost always get sucked into it in the end, i hate it when its really good and sometimes you get that one tear and she freaks out about it (she always likes it tho, works great for the "sensitive guy")
