Piercings...
    #1161234 -

I just got my Philantrum pierced, and also have my lobes stretched to 3/4" and a septum and tongue piercing... I was just wondering if ya'll think that some mods are better suited for a particular sex. Why or why not?

if your the kind of person that is swayed by peoples opinions of what you do don't do it. I would say that from what I have seen guys and girls get those same things done except for the tongue which I have seen in girls more often.

I'm not a big fan of piercings. I think stuff on the head is alright as long as its not obesessive, anywhere other than the head is weird/gross to me.

Just out of curiosity, what are you going to do about your stretched lobes when you're in your 50s? Don't you think it'll look a little weird?

the stretched lobes thing comes from africa or some place doesnt it? the bigger the lobes, the more (insert respect symbol here) isnt that how it works?

I think belly buttons should be chik only, otherwise it's a gay status symbol to me...

ha, im getting my navel soon. When i can stick my pinky finger through it (1/2") its not so feminine. Im going to 2.5" in my ears, i will also have tattoos all over my face, scarification and tattoos all over the rest of my body, 1/2 holes in my nipples, beading in my cock, etc etc....big holes in my ears will be the least of my problem, I will be working within the industry, and unless your apart of it, you probably cant even fathom how "fucked up" people look in it. bearbigears has 5 3/4" ears and is over 50, a beautiful man he is. Stretched lobes originate all over the world, china, africa, india, etc. In some places the larger they were, the more respect given, however in Africa for example, they start with 12 year old girls, cut the lobe open with a knife, and taper it 2.5" to start...not a sign of respect, rather of femininity. A piercing, or modification has NOTHING to do with sexuality.

I have my tongue pierced, and I am gay.  But I know plenty of other guys who have their tongues pierced who are straight as an arrow.  I think piercing placement is a pretty dumb thing to go by to make inferences about someone's sexuality.

I'm kinda with you about the navel piercing thing, though.  I guess I'm a pretty big hypocrite.  But aren't we all?!

oh i thought you were a chick, my bad. well i dont make the laws on what makes you gay but heres a lil of my theory. pierced tongues are good for giving head, girls pierce their tongues to give better head. unless your giving head it has no real purpose. some say its for kissing but kissing people with pierced tongues isnt really to much fun. piercings are used to draw attention to where ever is pierced and piercing a belly buttom would draw attention to stomach which is very feminime like (which is why women wear those short shirts)

You say it has no real purpose, perhaps no real function, the purpose is the make the person happy, why do i want to be able to put my fist through my earlobes? I dont know, but if it makes me happy, all the power to me. By the way, Girls love Kissing...and getting licked by a guy with a tongue piercing...altho the sexual purposes never even struck me until well after i got the piercing, Girls also generally love guys with pierced navels, personally, i plan on stretching mine to around a half inch as i said earlier, it really offers not to pleasant aesthetic to the normal person, but to someone like myself, it is beautiful, id much rather a girl with stretched piercings...than breast implants for example. Live and let live, im still not gay. Thanks for contributing though.
