i would hazard a guess that after 6 years, if you want to talk about the subject, creating a new thread would probably make more sense considering noone in the 6 year old thread is probably around anymore.

But that doesn't matter because there were enough new members to post new replies. On forums I run I personally prefer people make long lived threads so all the info is in one place.

It would make more sense if the forum software here didn't explicitly suggest that you post in one of the old thread if the mods don't like it.

long lived threads are great, i personally don't care. although when there is a 6 year gap alot of the info can be old and outdated, although in this case i don't think it was.

Another thing is it's in the community's best interest to not delete question's, What one find's pointless others might find gold :grin::thumbup:
