Please provide what you would consider a fine example of a talented individual talking about the effects and experiences of psychedelics.  I'm curious.  I've heard Joe Rogan speak about DMT and he knows what he's talking about.  He gives scientifically accurate information.

Please, do share your neuro soup with us oh wise and mighty.

Science is science, and the indescribable experience is an indescribable experience. Lots of egos and status games pop up around the information -- it's the same with anything else. Idols and gurus are lame, but if it encourages people to possibly learn for themselves, then I'm for it.

The dude is intelligent, whether you like him or not.
I don't understand the Joe Rogan haters, he's a stand up guy with way of describing things that makes what he says entertaining to read or listen to.
As far as describing part of his DMT trip with the exact words of McKenna, he's addressed this before and obviously gives the credit to Terence.

That entire video is regurgitated material from other psychedelic figures.

In my opinion though--and here's the kicker--we are just nodes in a giant network of information. No one "creates" any of this stuff anymore than the next guy; it is merely being channeled through us in some way or another. If it happens to slide off the tongue of an otherwise douchebag individual, the most important thing (aside from the credibility, which he pulls from others anyway) is that people are listening and buzzing the excitement to their friends.
