the man who beat World of Warcrafts!
    #11587190 -

A Taiwanese man has been named the first ever person to successfully "complete" World of Warcraft, collecting the game's staggering 986 Achievements to effectively do everything there is to do in the hugely successful MMO. This is literally the most amazing news of the day.

'Little Gray" beat the game after killing 390,895 creatures, administering 7,255,538,878 points of damage, completing 5,906 quests (averaging 14 quests a day), raiding 405 dungeons and hugging 11 players. I believe we can safely add another statistic to the numbers -- he has had sex 0 times during this period.

Some nitpicky WoW f*ckheads are trying to downplay Little Gray's accomplishment, claiming he received one event-tied achievement (B.B King) due to a glitch, and did not win it fairly. You know what, though? Who the Hell cares? He's done more than any human being ever reasonably should, so let's not quibble over one little point.

He's a WoW player. He will probably achieve nothing else in life. Let the man have this.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I believe I am able to predict the future wow these coincidences are happening more and more frequently by the day in my life!

I read the thread above this before even noticing the title of this thread, which read "Just bombed 3 WoW doses". being pretty freaking stoned, I thought to myself "hmm.. what does world of warcraft have to do with anything? then I scroll over it noticing that it has nothing and realize my mistake.

then I glance down to read the title of this thread...

shit like this has been happening to me on a daily basis.

I had a dream about WoW this morning when I went back to bed.

It was lucid (of course).
It was much different. I was in the game.
I was swinging a fucking golf club at a spinning thing and a rogue.

It was weird, I know.  Gawd, I miss that game.

most of the time i hate to generalize video game players of a certain type (hell, i guess i can't stereotype too much, look at my sig), but the WoW players are for the most part a very sad "race" of people.

i had a friend in high school that got into WoW to the point that it literally ruined his life, to the degree that most hard addictive drugs do other people's lives. he actually quit jobs, lost jobs, ruined relationships(with friends, family, and intimate), ignored his own health and hygiene etc.

it is kind of a bizarre phenomena, because it just draws in the people that are hard pressed for a life that they enjoy and gives them a whole new reality that diminishes their perspective on the external world and the things that really matter

edit: again, i try not to generalize, and mean no offense to those who play these games and keep life and reality in perspective. i have never played the game; this is just my external viewpoint on many people that i've seen personally.

My little brother had a problem with MMOs. He didnt leave the house for weeks on end and even kept a fridge and microwave next to his PC.

WoW re-creates many features of normal reality, including the competition and status games.

For weaker people, it changes many of the rules and allows them to more efficiently create the persona they desire, however fabricated.
