Maybe he won't act like such a poor sport next time he makes a horrible defensive play and gets scored on.  I played defense for 8 years, if I ever hit my goalie in the face with my stick I'd never play on that team again.  You're MAIN JOB is the protect that guy.  Way to fail at your job.

I played for 15 yrs. :toadie:

There is no disputing what a dumb fucking decision that was.

I simply commented on how it could happen and that Ballard didn't intentionally hit him in the face. He simply was to dumb to realize what could happen when you start pouting by smashing your stick around.

To many people are turning this into the "Keith attacks Goalie in Rage!" story.

Guy just made the dumbest mistake of his career. Thats it.

Well yeah it's obvious he wasn't actually trying to hit the goalie in the face because he was mad at him.  It's also obvious that trying to break your stick over three pipes encircling a person on your own team is a stupid fucking decision.

(We aren't arguing I'm just mad at this guy for being a retard)

This has almost nothing to do with hockey.

I'm surprised to hear anyone defending the special privileges of hockey players to things that would not be acceptable in any other area of society.

Why am I not surprised you are a hockey player.

I know who Tomas Vokoun is, and how well he's being doing lately.

Frankly I don't give a flying fuck. It's no excuse for hockey players to act like a bunch of whiny pussy tantrum babies.

I know you think it was "just a mistake" but that argument doesn't fly for drunk drivers or other negligent retards.

Almost anyone but a hockey player would face criminal charges for this.
