Nintendo DS modding ?

Can anyone fill me in?

I'm familiar with Wii modding, but dont know much about the handheld scene. Like is there a preferred model DS? Preferred method? Any good guide links?

Mostly I want emulators, or even a ROM loader for backup DS games if possible. :naughty:

I have a DS "lite" which I got for free, can I make use of this one? Can I make use of the same SD card I use for my Wii?

Not sure how you would go about it,but I play all the latest ds games right on my pc,at full speed,and I love it!!! Still trying to beat the new super Mario bros.I've read that you can download them onto an sd card and play em.I bet with some searching you could figure it out :wink:

for nintendo ds lite, just buy the cycloDS card, a microSD card, bigger the better, setup like it says on their site, and your off and running, DS hacking is ridiculous easy, and costs about the same as one game.

probly coolroms i think thats where i got my snes, alot sites have them i think

Ombient, i don't really know, i don't use much homebrew, its for my daughters DS, and i just put some games on it for her, and moonshell to play her mp3's and a few movies...
