I dont find "curb your enthusiasm" funny

This guy just gets into awkward situation after awkward situation and brings most of them upon himself by being an asshole.
How is that funny?

I dont get Larry David's humor.
I even thought Seinfeld was a bit dry and boring.

In fact I dont get Jewish humor in general; all it sounds like is complaining to me.
The only thing funny about it is the way they word their sentences.

It's funny because most of us either know someone like that or have been a situation where we pissed off everyone and couldn't understand why, and then later on realized "oh my god, how did I not realize that I was being a total prick?"

The difference is that Larry doesn't have the excuse of being stoned or coked-up while he engages in his painfully regrettable behavior...

If you are referring to an episode you watched from the season that's airing now I'd understand.  This season just seems different... the show lost it's magic.  I didn't find any of it funny really and I almost felt embarrassed to be watching it.  I ended up canceling cable shortly after.

I find the earlier seasons to be absolutely hilarious though.

I feel the same way. I rarely watch t.v. so maybe my humor isn't as desensitized as most people so when I watch <insert popular show of the month> I usually find it annoying and the humor catering to the lowest common denominator. Friends, Seinfeld, Frazier, Everyone Loves Raymond, The Office.. I can barely watch 2 minutes of that crap without wanting to kill someone.

Yah dude seriously.  Ok the past couple seasons have kinda sucked, but I'd say season 2 of the office is as good if not better than the British one.

QFT. Seinfeld was a worthless, shitty show. What makes people think Curb Your Enthusiasm would be any better? :facepalm:
