Screaming at the top of your lungs

I haven't had a good scream in a really long time, but today did it.  I was alone and I screamed until I couldn't scream anymore.  Reason being is that all I wanted was a hot shower but 20 seconds into my shower the hot water vanished mysteriously.  I have not had the best day and to be denied of a warm shower took me over the edge. 

Afterwards, I felt so much better, like I really resolved something energetically by screaming my lungs out.  I screamed so hard I felt my ears pop and my face crinkle and go purple.  I tried to scream so loud that my dead friends could hear me.  My screams were bloodcurdling, razor-sharp and extended until I was gasping for air.  I haven't had such a great time screaming my face off since I was a kid.  I truly recommend it.

I had a bit of phlegm in my throat from vaporizing marijuana and after my screaming fit I noticed it wasn't there anymore.  :thumbup:  The screams totally cleaned me out. 

I think I may make screaming a regular thing.  I almost feel cheerful now.

There used to be/are psychiatrists/counselors that specialized in scream therapy. I scream in my car pretty often... especially if my windows are down and someone is driving like a fuckstick.

I'm usually too afraid to scream at the top of my lungs.  I'm afraid some good person is going to come running, and then I'll be, like, um....sorry, It was just for stress relief.  :lol:

I've found screaming to be quite cathartic when the situation calls for it.  I've learned the hard way that it's best to release the energy rather than keep it bottled-up and have it blow-up in an uncontrolled manner.  I started screaming/pounding a pillow/whatever when I found myself taking my anger out on friends/family when they didn't deserve it.  Normally when I've had a bad day, I just blast Tool & scream along with it. :grin:

I had this breakthrough a few weeks ago. Ya see I have been trying to get promoted for a while now and recently got denied again. well that on top of a lot of family troubles as of late was enough to push me over the edge. So there I sat in my room alone screaming and crying like that kid in the flipout videos(good thing I couldnt find the TV remote). I felt so much better afterwards that I almost forgot what I was upset about in the first place.
I propose a national holiday. Something along the lines of "Its ok for men to scream and cry like schoolgirls day."

I have some pretty rough throat from smoking and couldnt do it without seriously hurting myself and possible medical problems.

It hurts when I even talk for more than 10 minutes and I need a glass of water.
