so today I wake up with some lung probles (hard to breath, congestion, ect..) iv got asthma but it hasent been this bad in some time now, i just quit smoking (weed) about 1 week ago so maybe this is why its acting up?, from what iv wread on WebMD and other sites after quiting your body will start to heal and get rid of shit in your lungs which sounds good but dosent feel good and is kinda scary because I feel like a fish out of water almost
How Will I Feel After I Quit Smoking?
After 20 minutes of not smoking:
Your blood pressure and pulse decrease The temperature of your hands and feet increases After 8 hours of not smoking:
The carbon monoxide level in your blood returns to normal Oxygen levels in your blood increase After 24 hours of not smoking:
Your chance of heart attack decreases After 48 hours of not smoking:
Your nerve endings adjust to the absence of nicotine Your ability to taste and smell begins to return After 72 hours of not smoking:
Bronchial tubes relax After 2 weeks to 3 months of not smoking:
Your circulation improves Your exercise tolerance improves After 1-9 months of not smoking:
Coughing, sinus congestion, fatigue and shortness of breath decrease Cilia in the lungs regrow, increasing the ability of the lungs to handle mucus, clean the lungs and reduce infection Your overall energy level increases After 1 year of not smoking:
Your risk of dying from heart disease decreases to half that of a lifelong smoker's risk After 5 years of not smoking:
Your risk of dying from lung cancer decreases to half that of a lifelong smoker's risk After 10 years of not smoking
Your risk of dying from lung cancer drops to almost the same rate as a lifelong NON-smoker Your risk of other cancers, such as cancer of the mouth, larynx, esophagus, bladder, kidney and pancreas decreases

It is true that your body is going to start fighting back and cause you some respiratory distress, but it shouldn't be that bad. If you have asthma, does your inhaler help? If it persists, you might want to see a doctor. There are many different types of inhalers, and he might need to change your prescription to a different one...

> How Will I Feel After I Quit Smoking?
After reading that list, I cannot help but think it was written with tobacco in mind rather than cannabis (weed). If it was written for cannabis, then it is seriously flawed. If it was written for tobacco, it would be a mistake to assume the same for cannabis holds true.

No idea. Either way, if it gets worse or doesn't go away, you need to see a doctor.

yea i know that most of that was not true for weed but i think that the part about Cilia in the lungs regrowing was true, and if it gets worse ill go to my Doc but it seems to be getting better as the day goes on.
