I swear this place is so ridiculously expensive, they truly snag half the cost of a movie ticket for videos that they make the costs back in a very short time. then they sell the dvds that are extra

not to mention shaft fools willing to buy snacks in there, i mean come one you are renting a video but cant make it on your way from something else that would make that cheaper?

blockbuster does suck. they never have a good selection, i find.

there is a locally owned place in my city that has virtually every movie known to man. it's infinitely better in every aspect.

Most of the movie rental places I've been to are around $4 for a movie. Its fuckin gay, thats why I torrent:cool:

lol we had a movie gallery in my little town, one of my friends worked there, hated it, didn't get paid shit.

He's working internationally now, designing multimillion dollar yachts. :thumbup:

blockbuster used to have $1 a night rentals, their answer to competition was raising their price to 2.99 a night and increasing late fees. :shrug:
i think they got confused somewhere along the way. lol

but the blockbuster mail service is pretty cool. send in the movies you watched and get a new one in about 2 days. I have even kept a couple movies for several months at a time. lol.
and if you don't want to wait for your new movie to come in, you can just take the movie in the prepaid envelope to a blockbuster store and trade it for a movie in the store for free

Libraries are free and likely to carry anything you'd find in a rental store (UTFSE, the "t" in this case being "their").

In my town all the rental stores went out of business years ago.

Although the last one only went down because of a crazy slut I know that decided flooding her boyfriends apartment (Above the store) was a great way to get back at him for cheating (you'd of thought that her fucking someone else two weeks before the incident would've been enough!).

Never even got to see the inside of their adult section. :tongue:

If your gonna rent movies you better at least copy them. Or download torrents. If you feel someone made an awesome movies send the director or writer a few bucks.

redbox is way popular there are places in Denver where people just walk to it to rent movies and it gets more business during certain parts of the day than the mcdonalds

when they started upping the price for movies and charging out the ass for all movies including old ones, you start to see that it costs an assload to rent movies.

Every blockbuster around here is either going out of business or have already gone out of business.

I rarely use rental places unless I'm just picking up a video game, then I go to Hollywood video. Too bad the Gamecrazy in it closed down.:frown:

yah, around here in Azle (west of fort worth, TX) there are two sets of redbox machines 2 in albertsons and 2 in walmart, and around 7'oclock on the weekends the lines for those get bigger than the whole crowd at blockbuster in an entire day. lol.

I am actually thinking about looking into buying one of those machines and placing it in a good location a few miles down the road from where i live, and becoming an "entrepreneur" of redbox, i think it could make a killing around here.
