Man... I really think you have the wrong idea. You're gonna sit around waiting to see neon flashing paisley and it won't happen. You can't just trip and do mundane bullshit like play video games or jack off and expect it to be 10,000 times better because you're also tripping.

Mushrooms are here to guide you, not entertain you. And if you don't respect them they will punish you, just like last time. You sound like you should really trip with a partner because if it's just you in your room with your thoughts waiting for something wild and impossible to happen, you will be disappointed. Unless you decide to eat a whole lot, in which case you will experience a time loop or any number of things which you might look upon later and think "wow, that was fucked up" but you will be very unhappy at the time because your ego will dissolve and it will be your naked brain versus some very offended mushrooms.

I've tripped 10-15 times and had a really hard time going deep into it, until I lit up one of those. I guess there's a reason the buddhist temples are full of them :grin: The smell really hurls you in the right direction.

Try turning off all the lights and all things that make sound, and sit down on the floor with a little candle in front of you (my bed caught fire when I did this the last time, so careful!) You'll probably have a good time if you do this.

Yeah a small candle is perfect. You want a lot of darkness because then you won't have reality drowning out the party going on in your visual cortex, and the one little flickering light will become cool to watch.

When I stare into the dark I see a lot of things but most common is what I'd describe as the arches on the underside of a cathedral's roof, colored red white and blue.

Nice man im glad you had a good second time. i ate 3.5g dry my first time and had the most amazing time ever! mostly all i said was "Im tripping balls!!!" I also spent countless hours researching and reading trip reports before i consumed them tho. hell yea man, I get what you're talking about when I'm coming down, I do feel the shroom exp coming down.
What I wanna do next time is get a screen capturing tool for my computer, so when I'm on shroom trip I turn it on and capture screen so I can later see what the hell I just did on the computer during the shroom trip, cause I don't even recall very clearly what I did lol, so it'll be cool to reflect back and see what I did on the trip.
