ive got a machine connected to my tv. it does nothing but download torrents and run xbmc.

i use rtorrent. its a command line client.. super fast. not for everyone though :smile:

No offense but do you actually know anything about torrents?

Vuze is a client (used to be Azureus) that you use to download torrents.

And yes, since Vuze uses Java it uses a shitload of power. I've always used it because when I started uTorrent didn't have a Mac version (not sure if it does now.) I'd recommend uTorrent over anything else.

uTorrent and transmission on mac are always the ones i used.

oh an occasionally tomato torrent.

Yeah, I found it a few years ago and have never stopped using it.

They add and take away trackers as the gain or loose popularity.

It also went through a massive face lift recently, it's a little buggy and slow now, but still convenient.



and OP a lot of popular sites will have "sponsored" torrents which will take you to a scam site, you have to scroll down until you see something like results, or search results, something like that.  Don't ever click anything that says it's sponsored when searching for torrents.

I meant more like setting up all my seeded torrents to seed there and shit.
I'm sure all I have to do is fucking right click once or twice.

But I know how to make torrents in Azureus, I'm familiar with the interface, I'll just stick with it.

I use utorrent as well. As for a torrent site I find btjunkie.org to always have a better selection then other sites. I used to use mininova.com, but found btjunkie to have a lot of stuff that they dont, and also has more seeders.
Also btjunkie.org doesnt have those annoying "sponsored results" at the top that take you to scam sites like torrent reactor does.

I just signed up with torrentreactor.com because it says it has my torrent... but then I click on the link and it takes me to 'usenet' which to me seems identical to the scam site a similar site brought me to that i fell for.. ripped me off 5 bucks or so... good thing I canceled before I got charged the 50$ a month after the 'free trial' ended

I was told torrentreator is a legit site... but I'm really thinkin it's not.... or at least scam sites are using it as bait or something

am I right??... I'm not fuckin paying for a decent torrent site and gettin ripped off again
