CYAN/AZURE mycelium cardboard tek Q

So I ended up getting my hands on a small patch of Azures, and Cyans this past fall.  I took a small piece of the mycelium from both patches, and upon coming home i wrapped them up in pieces of wet cardboard.  I noticed yesterday that the Myc is taking over both of them on the inside, but I have a few questions. 

Should I be wetting the cardboard to make sure that everything stays nice and moist??

So far I have the pieces laid down in a bag to keep the co2 levels decent for the mycelium.

After the myc takes over the cardboard, do I just transfer it to the woodchips, and do I have to soak the woodchips/spray them after lightly to keep them wet??

I can't wait to start making new patches all over the country side!=)  Why deal/buy mushrooms when you can let the earth do that for you! :hehehe:

Yes, keep the cardboard moist.

Soak wood chips first, then sterilize. :goodluck:

how far from you house do you plan to do that?

where do you think that it would actually be safe to start digging holes and making patches of shrooms?

do you have a backyard? is the area you live in a fairly wet humid area?
