My TV is on the Fritz

WTF.  It's a Sabre (military brand?) LCD tv (i think its LCD).  It's a few years old, and every now and then it will become OBSCENELY pixilated.  Like every bit of shadowing (perhaps on a plain background) is displayed as thousands of tiny purple pixils.

Then, it will go away, or i'll turn it off and come back in 15min and it'll be gone.

WHAT THE FUCK.

Internet television is far superior to terrestrial or satellite television

It would alleviate your problem quite easily if you didn't rely on broadcast/cable/satellite, but whatev.

I watch all of my fave shows online because I hate dealing with bullshit problems.  Fuck cable/satellite.  I have a basic digital antenna and that is good enough for me.  I would rather save the money and spend it on something else.

sounds like a connection problem. check your cables.

either that or the video processor.

EDIT: ask on http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/. if anyone knows the answer youll find it there. super smart guys.

It used to be that in sets with CRT's dust would collect and fuck the color up.  It's still possible that you might just need to vacuum the dust out of it.
