snow in colorado.

snowing in most of colorado right now.  the mountains are gonna get like 2 feet!  snowboard season is here.  so yeah i'm stuck inside for the night. actually i'm thinkin about eating some mushrooms and watchin it dump all night...

i live in boulder.  these pics are shot from my celly a minute ago.

from front door.  this is facing west, can usually see the Flatirons right there in the horizon



hmmmm those mushies are sounding better and better...

oh this is just the start of the snow, its boulder! i used to get pissy and depressed when it snowed, not in CO, fuckin love the snow.  i have boomed out in the snow many times, its glorious.  and yeah, as far as the buzz, it's already caught...:bongload:  :thumbup:

yeah brah! haha  can't wait, gettin a new never summer legacy r this season. i better hurry up though, that board sold out last year before i could afford one!

graphic is similar to last year's, same colors, slightly cooler.  still not a big fan of the graphic though.  demo'ed this board last year and its nasty though.  felt so in control..oh yes, she will be mine.

Fresh, what size? I ride a 163 Burton Doom, it's a nice board but I'm gonna get a longer one for next season. Short boards are killer on cat walks and tend to tank in deep powder.

Hell fuckin yeah guys! I'm on CU campus right now (I've been doing hw all day since classes got cancelled....thats what I get for being a fucking engineer). About to head home.

But i already hit up Loveland to board on Sunday, and it was icy as fuck. I'm looking forward to going again when there is some powder. Probably not this weekend though because i'm gonna be getting messed up for Halloween....

Yeah October is still not gonna be a good month for riding, it's just a hint of things to come. Mid to late November should be the proper kick off.

I'm also looking forward to drinking deeply at CU this weekend

my roommate and his friend are headed to indio, ca for phish this weekend.  couldn't afford it.  most of my other buddies are raging the bassnectar show in denver, i waited too long to get a ticket, now people want over $100 for one.  fuck that.  so, i think we're gonna do the traditional, eat doses, and wander pearl street with all the other crazies.  thats what a few of us did the past two years, stopping at a couple house parties, and had a blast.

and yeah i don't really get into boarding this early in the season.  i like a decent base first, fuck a core shot.  especially when i get my new board....

It looks really nice there.

As you can tell, Ive been stuck in the south and haven't experienced "real" snow.
So far, LA is getting coldfronts and tons of rain.

If I am correct, hearing from many people, its supposed to be the "best" winter in 10 years.

i rock a 163 as well...i think its the perfect size

can't wait for some pow shots to the face!  that feeling where it takes your breath away when you breathe in cause its so cold...

Haha yeah and i get the feeling its gonna be quite the freakfest. I was at the fillmore last Halloween too for Leftover Salmon...it was tight but, its definitely not the kind of music that brings out all the freaky ravers like RJ and Bassnectar will.

I'm planning on candy flipping....its gonna be quite the night!

haha seriously?  north boulder represent!  so you could tell from the angle what intersection that was? 

there seems to be a shitload of people on shroomery that are from the big CO, especially denver/boulder/fort collins area...
